Dear Friends and Fellow Writers,
It gives me great pleasure to announce our Winter 2007 issue of Conte! This issue (as always) has been many months in the making, so we hope you enjoy this round of poetry and prose, as well as our new look; simply click the “current issue” link to your upper-right. Happy reading, happy holidays, and from all of us here at Conte, thanks for your support!
Tavel.
Dear Friends of Conte–
We have made the final editorial selections for our winter installment, 3.2, and are excited to announce that we are still on schedule for our original release date of December 22nd. (If I just jinxed us, then we promise to get it done by Christmas.) Thanks to all who submitted for this issue, and know that we are both humbled and energized by our journal’s growth. So stay well, enjoy the holidays, and know that our new issue is only days away!
Tavel.
Yeah, so, new digs. Sort of an interim look - we mainly wanted to get our blog online and start all the fun that implies.
December is a busy month for us - the new issue is slated for 12/22, and Adam and I are most pleased with the way everything is shaping up this time around. We’re just now finishing up the last round of readings, so all those who submitted can expect something in the e-mail in short order if they haven’t already heard back. Thanks to everyone who sent us their work on the downside of 2007!
We’re also happy to be preparing an interview with the superb journal for the rejected, uglycousin - they are some kind of geniuses at finding diamonds where lesser editors saw only coal, rocks, or other less sparkly items. Too cool.
Stay tuned!
